Michael Glaze is a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach with over 25 years of communication and leadership experience. Michael is a motivated, engaging, passionate speaker who has gained valuable experience through the military, hospitality, retail, local government and education disciplines.

Michael began his career as a Physical Educator and has coached several athletic teams while motivating and inspiring young athletes. During his tenure as an educator, he continued his passion for developing people in customer service and supervisory skills while at Marriott
International.

Michael’s experience with Marriott catapulted his career in Human Resources with both Home Depot and Lowe’s where he sharpened his skills as a Change Agent, Trainer, and Facilitator. He is currently a Training and Organizational Development Advisor for the Personnel Board of Jefferson County where he has trained thousands of local government employees in leadership, management, and professional development.

Michael is a veteran of the Afghanistan War on Terror. He is currently serving as President of the Greater Birmingham ATD Board of Directors.
