While facilitating one of my favorite classes yesterday, Customer Service Essentials, my challenge to the participants was to take ACTION and raise the customer service bar a little higher each and every day.

According to Bob Farrell, the man who created the war cry, “Give Them the Pickle,” there are 4 areas of customer service that have the greatest impact.

1. Service

2. Attitude

3. Consistency

4. Teamwork

Teamwork is my focus for today. Mr. Farrell uses this definition:

“Team is a group of people who go out of their way to make each other look good.”

Intentionally make it a point during your day to go out of your way to make the others on your team, in your department, company, or best yet… your family look good! Take ACTION and it will make someone’s day brighter to have been able to spend time with you!!
